If you are celebrating a special day (e.g. Birthday or Anniversary) and you would like to bring in a cake or yummy treats to share with your church family, please reach out to Heidi at heidifitz1231@gmail.comto coordinate details and set up a table for you. A week’s notice would be helpful. Thank you.

Finally, if items are left in the kitchen, as a donation (e.g. for the Youth Group, South Park Inn, etc.), they should be left on the far counter and clearly marked accordingly. Please note that the kitchen will be cleaned up and cleared out once per month.

WEEKLY YOUTH MEETINGS
Thursdays in the Barn, Junior Youth meet from 5:30–7pm, Senior Youth meet from 6:30 to 8pm, with the 6:30 to 7 half hour covering dinner for both groups and pick up/drop off.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PLAY GROUP
This is a drop-in play group on Wednesday mornings in the barn. The group meets from 9:30-noon and is very laid back - come when you can, stay for as long as you'd like. We will have good coffee and treats, so no need to bring anything but yourself and your kiddos (if they're around - Erin will be showing up solo since both kids are in school). If you know someone who would be interested in joining us please pass this along!  RSVPs are not necessary - if you're free, stop by.  Contact Erin Ott:   erinott13@gmail.com.

SOUTH PARK – WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!
Since the Webbers have decided to step down from this ministry after many years of service, we are looking for a volunteer (or volunteers) to keep this ministry running. South Park is a vital part of our congregation and we want to continue this effort moving forward. We serve dinner every first Tuesday of the month at the South Park shelter. To make it happen, someone needs to purchase food and make sure there are volunteers to cook it at church and serve it at the shelter. If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact Debbie Dunn at dunnds@comcast.netor 860-651-4408.

USHERS NEEDED – The Worship committee is looking for men and women to serve as ushers at 10:30. If you enjoy greeting people and helping throughout the service, consider being an usher! Training is provided. Contact Ed Hamilton or Sandy Lipscomb. Thank you!

BEDS FOR SHELTER ANIMALS – Prayers and Squares are now making beds for shelter animals from fabric scraps collected at Days for Girls. These are used to stuff used pillowcases which are inserted in a zippered cover made from donated heavy duty material. No waste! 100% of your donations go to these worthwhile projects.
