Interested in learning about and playing our SUM Carillon? Now every second Sunday of the month our Carillon Ringers will be giving tours of the carillon tower. Learn how the instrument is played, and see the 5,000 pound bells! Tours will be given after the 10:30 service. Meet outside the Carillon door near the rear of the Sanctuary. Please see Bridget Scarlato, Jen Acheson, Johnnie Denton, or Bob Shea if you have any questions.

NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
WEEKLY YOUTH MEETINGS
Each Thursday in the Barn, Junior Youth meet from 5:30–7p.m. and Senior Youth meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., with the 6:30 to 7:00 half hour covering dinner for both groups and pick up/drop off. If we need to meet longer any particular weeks because of projects, we can make the adjustment then, but for now an hour for meeting and a half hour to eat will be plenty.
ATTENTION ALL TEEN MUSICIANS
We are looking for soloists, ensemble members, and groups for skits for the entertainment during the Spaghetti Dinner. This year‘s Spaghetti Dinner is on March 2nd and will benefit Red Bird Mission, our Summer Mission Project. Please contact Bridget Scarlato or Erin Ott if you are able to participate.
THANK YOU FROM THE SUSANNAH CIRCLE
The Susannah Women’s Circle would like to thank the congregation for your tremendous support of our Methodist Munch sale on Super Bowl Sunday. Because of your generosity, we will be able to donate $600 to Interval House. This money will be used for programs that support women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Thank you!
WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH YOUTH EVENTS
You may be a new SUM member, and you may not have teens or tweens in your household now, but we would appreciate having you at activities for the young people at SUM. It is as simple as being present at events… no need to organize the event, or to take on a permanent role, or even to establish a long-term commitment. Simply having another pair of hands would be terrific! Contact Erin Ott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CHURCH SCHOOL PROGRAMS COMPETE FOR GIFTS OF LOVE
First Church/Hopmeadow Nursery School and SUM/LLI have a friendly competition for food donations through Feb. 24. Gifts of Love is in desperate need of food items for their Weekend Backpack Program(especially tuna, rice and peanut butter). You will find boxes in Wesley Hall for SUM and LLI families. The winner of this “competition” will be awarded with donuts for the kids!
WEDNESDAY MORNING PLAY GROUP
We have started a drop-in play group on Wednesday mornings up in the barn at the church. The group meets from 9:30-noon and is very laid back - come when you can, stay for as long as you'd like. We will have good coffee and treats, so no need to bring anything but yourself and your kiddos (if they're around - Erin will be showing up solo since both kids are in school). If you know someone who would be interested in joining us please pass this along!
RSVPs are not necessary - if you're free, stop by. If you have any questions
feel free to call/text Erin Ott at 914-213-1493; email@example.com.
Your donation allows SUM to prepare and serve a hot meal once a month at the South Park homeless shelter in Hartford. You may donate food, money, or your time to prepare or serve meals. Donations marked “South Park” in the memo may be left in the plate or sent to the office. You will find a food sign-up board at the sanctuary exit to Wesley Hall.
