SUNDAY - 10:30-11:30am - IN THE ANNEX
Starting January 20
 - Facilitated by Amy Kulig

We will begin a new DVD study from Living the Questions. LtQ2 is a popular video & internet-based small group exploration of progressive Christianity featuring premier theological voices of our day, including Marcus Borg, Diane Butler Bass and John Dominic Crossan  “LtQ2 is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity.” Weekly reading is offered but not required and drop ins are welcome.

The Annex is the little house at the end of the covered walkway - by the parking lot

MONDAY 4:30-6:00pm - IN THE Annex
Facilitated by Jan Bennett and Susan Samuel

We are continuing studying the book of Isaiah from the Wesley Bible Studies series. Commentary from contemporary teachers, with highlighted quotes from the writings and life experiences of John Wesley, along with the poetry and hymns of his brother Charles are used in the lessons. Each of the twelve sessions conclude with discussion questions and a prayer. The study of Isaiah will run to late February.

Tuesday 10:30 to Noon - IN THE Annex

January 29-February 26 - Facilitated by Dennis Winkleblack

Your first job. Your first date. A tough period in your life. A day when time stood still. Memories to Memoirs will help you put snippets of your life (or a longer stretch) into words for posterity. Dennis Winkleblack will lead the class, offering writing tips and an abundance of encouragement. All writing skill levels welcomed, especially those who’re certain they can’t write. Dennis says, “Our lives are God’s handiwork; we honor God by giving attention to our experiences.”

Wednesday 7:00pm - Location TBD (Annex or barn)
Starting January 9th-facilitated by Wayne Lambert

The group will focus on a different topic each week and use several resources for the discussions.  Themes include:

Basic concepts and reasons for grieving

A Time to Grieve

Experiencing Grief

Rebuilding and Remembering

Finding Hope and Healing

Moving Forward

THURSDAY 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. in the Annex

We will begin studying Mark mid-January by reading the introduction and highlighting its important features.

We welcome anyone to come Thursday morning whether they are members of this church or just want to know more about the Good News but have no "home" church. We have people who are unable to come every week but they come when they can.

Another important part of this group is the sharing of prayer concerns near the end of our class
