Little Lambs and Ivy Child Care and Learning Center (“LLI”) supports and supplements the families of their children with a safe, healthy, and loving environment. LLI responsibility nurtures each child developing within each a positive self-concept and respect for others through care, teaching, and modeling sound Christian values.
Educational development focuses on building positive attitudes toward learning and gaining self-confidence, as well as developing basic elementary school readiness.
LLI is an integral part of Simsbury United Methodist (“SUM”) Guiding Principles and Purpose. It is part of SUM’s commitment to education, congregational care, and life-long learning, in addition to Sunday and congregational programs.
SUM Purpose Statement: SUM offers a vital community in which to nurture your relationship with people and a loving God. Everything we do is geared toward helping you become a better citizen of God’s kin-dom and live your most fulfilling life.
LLI believes that quality childcare and learning supports and supplements the family by providing a safe, clean, healthy, and loving environment. The learning curriculum provides a variety of activities, experiences and materials that are selected to engage your child in active, meaningful learning.
LLI is committed to providing an environment for your child to grow and learn. LLI:
· Treats your child as a precious unique individual
· Works to build an alliance with the family and parents
· Encourages your child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
· Teaches and models Christian values.
LLI has become a premier child learning and care center in the Farmington Valley of Connecticut and is recognized for its commitments to those families whose children attend LLI and benefit from the life and learning outcomes those children develop.
Due to the current demand for childcare and early childhood education, LLI has limited resources and typically has a waiting list. For further information, contact the LLI Director.
