This Week’s Challenge: Have You Looked at Our Website Lately?
This week’s challenge: Have you looked at our website lately?
If the answer is no, then you are missing out. Our own Lori Catlin Garcia has worked her magic and recently updated the website to make it more colorful, easier to use, and accessible to everyone.
Our website is designed to attract people from the community and to attract new members; however, it is also a valuable resource for our members, like you! And I am here to pave the way and walk you through some of the highlights. If you are interested in a more personal tour, Lori will be providing some short classes this fall after church services to walk you through the website and answer your questions. The first class will be tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 17 between 10:00 AM and 10:20 AM and again from 11:30(ish) until 11:50 AM in Wesley Hall. How great is that – free hospitality and education?
Events/Calendar
There is a list of events and a monthly calendar on the website that lists upcoming services, classes, meetings, etc. No need to call the office to ask when something is planned, just look at the calendar. How you ask? Okay, let’s go!
Go to sumct.org
At the top of the screen, click on ‘News/Events’ to reach The Messenger page
Scroll down the screen where it says GET THE LATEST NEWS !
If you do not receive the email notification for the Messenger, click on ‘subscribe to our email newsletter’ to fill out the form and receive the weekly email
Scroll down a bit further and you will find ‘ANNOUNCEMENTS’ and ‘CALENDAR’
