How the Church Works: Ushers

I decided to become an usher on September 19, 2015, when Jim Ray gave me the photo above of my kids and me singing a hymn the week before. Until then, Jim and I had said good morning when we saw each other and the occasional joke. I was completely surprised when Jim gave me the photo. It has meant so much to me. This photo captured one of the most important parts of my life. My kids and I enjoyed being in church and were happy to be sharing it together. I remember telling the kids that I decided to become an usher and hoped to do something just as meaningful for someone else.

We are always looking for more people to join the usher team. Click here for my Rally Day video about ushers.

In Grace,
Glenn Knight, Head Usher
