Volunteers Needed: Show your Praise and Thanksgiving by Lending a Hand
Simsbury United Methodist is seeking volunteers to join its dedicated support team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of church services and events. Volunteers serve in various capacities, including ushering, safety, YouTube streaming, and acolyte duties.
No prior experience is necessary for ushering and acolyte roles. Training will be provided on the day of service to ensure volunteers are comfortable with their responsibilities. However, short training is required for safety and YouTube roles to ensure adherence to safety protocols and technical proficiency.
By volunteering, individuals can contribute to the spiritual growth of the SUM community while also enjoying the benefits of worship and fellowship with their families. Volunteers enable others to fully participate in services without worrying about these essential tasks.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Head Usher, Eric Lemke, or the church office. Your time and dedication will make a significant impact on the church community.
